Docents act as a bridge between visitors and the exhibitions. They facilitate learning. They guide visitors on their journey of discovery encouraging them to share what they already know and what they have learned from the exhibition content. They encourage questions, stimulate visitor curiosity and imagination, and forward research inquiries to the curator or local historian.
