Each year, CHT hosts the Community Health Forum, where healthcare and public health professionals come together to explore critical topics affecting our community. This half-day seminar, held at the Kathleen A. King Community Room, promotes learning, collaboration, and the sharing of insights to advance health and well-being.
This year’s focus is:
Equity Learning and Cultural Humility in Healthcare
The 2025 Health Forum for healthcare professionals will introduce the concept and need for cultural humility in the medical field and identify the demographics and prevalent health conditions within the greater Pajaro Valley area. The Forum also includes a tour of the new Education and Training Center at Watsonville Community Hospital plus shared community resources addressing patient health, food insecurity, and housing.
