All levels of yoga students are invited to join us for a weekly practice of yoga in the redwoods. Every week we will practice different breathing techniques and yoga postures, building upon the previous week’s instruction. Teaching will be scaffolded to ensure that every practitioner, from beginner to advanced, will receive the level of instruction they need.
The forest can be messy, please bring a yoga mat that you don’t mind getting dirty or a towel to put under your mat. Additional yoga props such as blocks are welcome, as well as a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Chairs and alternative poses will be provided for participants with limited mobility.
Class size is limited, advance registration required. Meet at Picnic Area 1 in the day use area of Henry Cowell. Those who register will receive more detailed directions and information via email.
