“We’ve got to get rid of this idea that if your job is personally fulfilling you can put up with low wages, especially in our housing market.” Executive Director (ED) of a human service nonprofit interviewed for CNE’s Guide to Leadership Transitions.
With many nonprofit organizations preparing for or responding to leadership transitions, this challenge is real. It can be especially challenging for smaller nonprofits. Bring your staff/board team to this virtual discussion with human resources consultant Candice Elliott of Fortress and Flourish and Rita Haronian from Nonprofit Compensation Associates. You will
- increase your awareness of current trends in nonprofit compensation and benefits especially for ED positions
- understand what the Fair Pay for Northern CA Nonprofits Compensation and Benefits Survey Report is and how to use it
- consider what we are learning about compensation and equity
- have the opportunity to voice questions and concerns and get feedback.
