The date is set – this year’s Stuff The Bus event will take place on August 13th at the Kaiser Permanente Arena! Each year, Santa Cruz County Office of Education and United Way of Santa Cruz County team up to host Stuff The Bus to collect new backpacks and school supplies to prepare local students for the new school year. The backpacks and supplies are distributed to students currently experiencing homelessness and/or other extreme financial hardships. You can support the purchase and donation of new backpacks filled with necessary supplies to go to students in Santa Cruz County – with over 3,000 K-12 students currently experiencing homelessness in our county, our goal is to provide each student with a filled backpack in time for the 2022-2023 school year!
