The Santa Cruz County Youth Symphony, under the direction of guest conductor John Thomas, presents its Fall Concert on Sunday, November 19. Featuring 16-year-old trombonist Antonio Plaza, winner of our Concerto Competition, performing the beautiful Andante Cantabile from Rimksky-Korsakov’s Trombone Concerto, plus the World Premiere of The Middle of Nowhere, by 17-year-old composer Benjamin Goodwin, inspired by stories of his grandparents’ farm in Alabama.

- Maurice Ravel: Pavane for a Dead Princess

- John Williams: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
