Saturday November 4, 1 – 5 PM, Salinas, CA
The objective of the summit is to strengthen identity/affinity group leadership and build coalition and allyship between groups, organizations, and individual community members seeking to end inequities and discrimination.
NCBI Monterey County is looking to work with organizations, individuals and allied groups that support or represent specific identity groups within the community including: people with disabilities, Asian American/Pacific Islanders, Indigenous Peoples, Black & African Heritage, Latine/Latinx folks, LGBTQ+, women, youth and more.
Participants will learn from each other as we build skills to be powerful allies and work as a community to address racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia and transphobia, and all forms of oppression and inequities.
