Many of you have reached out to us wanting to help our Pajaro neighbors who have been affected by the most recent storm. We are partnering with Raices y Cariño, a multicultural family resource center in Watsonville. They are seeking volunteers and donations of practical items to help families who have been displaced.
These are some of the items that families are seeking:
- Toiletries
- Water
- Socks
- Underwear for families
- Snacks
- Blankets
Please bring them to Homeless Garden Project’s 30 West Cliff Dr office, and we’ll transport them to Raices y Carino, who will transport items to families in the Castroville shelter.
- Our first delivery is Thursday at 3 pm; please drop off by 1 pm.
- Parking is available in the paid lot next door.
- We plan to make another delivery the following week on Tuesday at 3 pm; please drop off by 1 pm.
