Grupo Folklórico Esperanza del Valle celebrates 40th Anniversary at the Crocker Theater – “Celebrando 40 Años de Esperanza”
The Cabrillo College Dance Department proudly presents Esperanza del Valle Mexican Folklorico Dance Company of Santa Cruz County’s 40th Anniversary Performance “Celebrando 40 Años de Esperanza” at the Crocker Theater for two performances featuring music and dance from a variety of regions and states of Mexico.
Esperanza del Valle’s 40th anniversary performance highlights 4 decades of Esperanza’s artistic programming in Santa Cruz County, featuring our original choreodrama, “Los Dos Hermanos” that fuses dance and drama through traditional and cultural themes with theater direction by Eduardo Robledo and staged by EDV’s Artistic Director, Janet Johns.
After more than four decades of learning from Mexico’s master teachers and choreographers, we are proud to present a tapestry of our signature danzas, sones, and huapangos of Mexico.
The fabulous Cuatro con Tres will share their musical talents in this spectacular performance of music and dance. We thank you, our audience, con todo nuestro amor y pasión!
