December Lunch & Learn: CalSavers Employee Benefits

December 13, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
On Zoom Free

Bite size opportunities for connection and capacity building!

“Lunch and Learns” are a sociable, collaborative way to foster
a culture of learning and knowledge sharing in our nonprofit sector.
They offer a space for discussion, support professional development,
and provide an opportunity for people to get to know each other!

WHEN: Wednesday, December 13, Noon – 1:00 PM
WHAT: “CalSavers and the Personal Financial Health & Wellness of your Team – are you compliant?”
  • Nonprofits with 5 or more employees are required to have a retirement plan for their employees
  • CalSavers is a good option for nonprofit employers to consider (if they don’t already have a retirement plan).
  • Many employers are struggling with CalSavers Compliance and Employees are facing a very challenging economy.
  • Especially now, as CalSavers is beginning enforcement of the law and issuing fines, employers should know their options when it comes to compliance with the Law.
  • Factors such as high inflation, high interest rates and a looming recession have cut deeply into the ability of many employees, especially in CA, to thrive financially.
  • We will discuss options which may be available to help reduce the hardship these factors are causing in the everyday lives of employees and their families.
  • With plenty of time for your Q&A
