Co-sponsored by the Human Care Alliance and Nonprofit Connection Santa Cruz County. Our featured guests, the County’s Budget Manager, Marcus Pimentel, and Principal Administrative Analyst, Sven Stafford, will provide an overview of the County budget process, its relationship to the strategic and operational plans, opportunities for community input, and the County’s new online budget tool. Participants will have a chance to ask questions, provide feedback on the County’s budget tool, and engage in small group discussions.
By the end of the session, we hope everyone will identify at least one action to take to continue learning about this important process, share information with others, and engage in the County’s budget cycle in new ways in the future.

Copatrocinada por el Human Care Alliance [Alianza de Cuidado Humano] y el Nonprofit Connection Santa Cruz County [Conexión de Organizaciones sin fines de lucro en el Condado de Santa Cruz]. Nuestros invitados, el Gerente de Presupuestos del Condado, Marcus Pimentel, y el Analista Administrativo Principal, Sven Stafford, proveerán una vista general del proceso del presupuesto del Condado, su relación con los planes estratégicos y operativos, las oportunidades para aportes de la comunidad, y la nueva herramienta presupuestaria por internet del Condado. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de hacer preguntas, proveer comentarios sobre la herramienta presupuestaria del Condado, y participar en conversaciones en grupos pequeños.
Al final de la sesión, esperamos que todos puedan identificar por lo menos una acción que tomarán para seguir aprendiendo sobre este proceso importante, compartir información con otras personas, y participar en el ciclo presupuestario del Condado en nuevas maneras en el futuro.
