Join us as we journey through Big Basin to discover the forest’s amazing adaptations after the CZU Lightning Complex Fire. Together, we will view the park and its current condition from novel perspectives, drawing correlations between our lives and that of the forest. You will be invited to take a page from nature’s playbook and explore new ways of responding to an ever-evolving world.
You’ll have an opportunity to get up close and personal with the natural ecosystems of the park in this moment of its history. We’ll be walking approximately 1.5 miles on a trail that is mostly level or gently sloping, with one brief, moderately steep section.
