Dr. Tasneem Mohamed has more than 15 years’ experience as a social justice and women’s rights advocate and community activist. She has over 15 years of experience in mental health. She believes in the value of servant leadership and is dedicated to creating policy and culture prioritizing mental health, belonging, and removal of systemic barriers. She has served CSUMB as a member of the DEI planning committee, CCAMPIS Grant Committee, President’s Committee for Equity and Inclusion. She advises the Dean of Student Life on the needs of Muslim students, mentors MENA, SWANA students, and African American students. She joined NCBI in 2022 and is a facilitator and board member for the Monterey County Chapter.
Sue Parris has more than thirty years’ experience as a consultant and facilitator, helping organizations increase awareness of racial and social equity issues and develop organizational equity and inclusion practices. Sue is President of the NCBI International Board of Directors and leads its White Affinity Group.
Sue is also a co-founder of Whites for Racial Equity, a local group of white people committed to dismantling racism. She consults with community organizations, public agencies, schools, and universities. Sue previously served as project coordinator for NAMC including support for their DEI initiative.
