Queer New Moon Ritual

Date: FRIDAY, February 9
Time: 6:00-8:00 PM
Location: The Diversity Center

You are invited to an Aquarius Queer New Moon Ritual at The Diversity Center. We give love others at the capacity that we are able to love ourselves. This gathering will be focused on self love. We will be doing our usual journaling with prompts and the activity will be a lesson on how to do jar magick.

Please arrive on time at 6:00. Participants will be asked to complete our Community Connection Survey while we all get settled in. We begin our ritual with introductions and a check-in question followed by a land and black life acknowledgement. Participants are then invited to volunteer to lead a clearing or grounding exercise. There will be time to share astrology wisdom of this new moon. This will lead us into journaling and an opportunity to share and receive insights with each other in circle that arise with the group.

You will receive a jar and begin a spell that will take 15 days for you to complete. It will be fun and you will know all you want and need to do this spell. Jar magick is an ancient form of majick. These jars are intended to strengthen our own self love which in turn can strengthen anything in our lives that we wish to attract. Everything in life that is to succeed must start from a place of love. Before we work with money spells or any other majick work, we must be in touch with what it really feels like to listen to our hearts, and what it feels like to be in self-love. Our capacity to be giving and loving towards others is directly impacted by how we love ourselves first. Success is only success if it involves who and what we love in life. People can feel your loving actions for them when you can feel that you love yourself first and amply. So the starting point is the self. There are so many ways we love ourselves and don’t even realize it because we live in a world that encourages the opposite and thrives off us not knowing the power of self-love. So, let’s reclaim some of our power of self-love.
