Senderos and the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (MAH) present Día de los Muertos community celebration on Saturday, October 29 from 12-4PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Santa Cruz. Senderos Centeotl Danza y Baile will perform at 12:30PM and Ensamble Musical at 2:00PM. There will be community ofrendas (altars) for viewing.
On Friday, October 28 at 5PM, a traditional tapete (sand painting) will be unveiled in the MAH atrium at 5:00pm presented by visiting Oaxacan artist Sergio Vicente Aguilar Garcia. The tapete will be on display at the MAH until November 4.
