We are excited to announce that we are hosting a series of Youth Action Network Pop-Up Events throughout the county this Spring. Our first pop-up event will be at Laurel Park in Santa Cruz in partnership with the Teen Center and London Nelson on April 27th from 2:00-5:00pm.
The YAN Steering Committee Team envisions new, fun, and meaningful ways to bring everyone in the network, youth, and community members together. Our goal for the pop-up event is to connect middle school and high school students to youth programs, resources, and local leaders through games, activities, food, and fun!
At the pop-ups, we plan to include:
– Resource tables focused on youth resources, programs, leadership opportunities
-Small field games & activities
-Guest Speakers (youth & adult allies)
-Food & music!
