It’s that time of year again where we hold the Waves and WildlIfe photo competition! We’re calling all photographers to join in and submit up to five of their best photos (or videos) capturing all the beauty of Marine Protected Areas like the Monterey Bay.
Participants must submit a photo or video from a Marine Protected Area that exhibits themes such as fish, marine mammals, sea birds, seascape and so on!
There will be a free community event on Friday, November 4th showcasing the submissions we received, as well as informing our community what Marine Protected Areas are and why they are important.

Anyone is welcome to participate! Simply send us your photo, along with your name and a description of the image via the email above. We can’t wait to see what you all send us!
Deadline to submit photos will be on October 12th at the end of the day.
