Grants of up to $10,000 are being made available to new business owners.
The Norcal Dream Fund Training Program is seeking eligible small businesses/NONPROFITS to join our program. Eligibility requirements are available here, and are verified upon application for the grant. In short:
- Must be formally registered to do business in our service area.
- Business registration must have occurred on or after July 1st, 2019.
- Must be a business with 5 employees or less (full time equivalent) and $1 million or less in annual receipts.
- Only one grant per household
- Only one grant per business entity.
- Must not have received a grant from the California Dream Fund previously, either from the Norcal SBDC or another participating program.
- Owner(s) must be domiciled in the State of California.
- Must agree to all applicable terms and conditions.
To join, folks will need to complete both the Application and Self-Certification. Folks that do not complete both will not be considered for the Dream Fund Training Program. Clients that have previously completed these must do them again. This step must be completed by Sunday, September 25th, 2022. Following completion of the form, eligible applicants will be notified around the 27th, and will be invited to join our first class on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 (with a make-up opportunity offered on the evening of October 3rd).
