After a long three-year hiatus, it’s back! The FoodWhat Annual Benefit will return on Sunday, September 18, 2022, and will be hosted at the Hay Barn at the UCSC Farm and Garden. We are grateful to once again share space with each of you in support of the health and wellbeing of the youth in our shared community.
FoodWhat’s Benefit Celebration Dinner invites the community to learn more about our programs, hear directly from FoodWhat youth, and support our work in the coming year. This well-loved community event brings together over 250 members of the FoodWhat Family: youth, parents, teachers, nonprofit leaders, local businesses, elected officials, farmers, supporters and more. The FoodWhat Youth Crew partners with top local chefs to prepare a delicious meal with fresh, organic, youth-grown produce. The highlight of the night comes when the youth take to the mic to stand in their power and share their personal stories of growth and transformation from their year at FoodWhat!
There is no cost to attend and guests are invited to make a meaningful donation at the end of the evening. Thanks to the phenomenal table captains, guest chefs, sponsors, volunteers, and guests, the Benefit Celebration Dinner has raised critical funds and fueled FoodWhat’s work in the community and growth year after year!
This will be an outdoor event.
